People may laugh and joke, but the truth is that unplanned pregnancies, HIV and other Sexually Transmitted Infections(STIs) are nothing to laugh about. Why use a Condom?
Condoms when used properly, prevent semen, bloodor vaginal fluids from entering the body.
Condoms are easy to use and are free in most clinics.
Condoms provide protection from unplanned pregnancy.
Some facts about Condoms
Use only latex condoms to prevent the exchange of body fluids.
Never use a condom that is passed the expiry date.
Never keep condoms in your wallet or a tight pocket as they might break.
Keepthem in your purse (bag) or jacket pocket.
Keep condoms away from heat and sunlight. Store them in a cool dry place.
Use condoms only once.
DO NOT USE Vaseline, or other oil based products for lubricants. The condom will break. Use only water-based lubricants.
How to use a Condom
Open the package carefully.
Squeeze the tip of the condom to get all the air out. Put the condom over the head of the penis when it is hard.
Still holding the tip of the condom so that there is some space for the semen (cum), unroll the condom until it covers all of the penis.
To make the condom extra slippery, use a water-based lubricant such as K-Y Jelly.
After ejaculation (coming), hold the condom firmly by the rim at the base and take the penis out of your partner slowly while it is still hard.
Take if off carefully so that you do not spill the semen. Do this away from your partner's body.
Tie a knot in the condom and throw it away, never in the toilet bowl as they will plug the septic tanks and sewer systems.
Use a condom only once.
