Crisis Team Training Strategy
It is our goal to train Instructors for each Tribal Council and Independent First Nation so that they are able to maintain certificates for their crisis teams and share information with community members. Our priority training includes:
- First Aid / CPR
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NVCI)
- Critical Incident Stress Management
- Suicide Prevention
- Peer Helping
Nishnawbe Aski Nation does not have the capacity to fund all training requests, the information provided on this page is to help Crisis Teams access training resources.
