Mental Health Support Worker
The mental health support worker will provide client-based services that consist of secondary and tertiary prevention and intervention programming to NAN aboriginal children and youth identified as “at-risk/high risk” and their families or individuals with assessed mental health conditions. The program also supports the coordination of services to clients, group activates; crisis intervention and provision of support in urgent circumstances

Economic & Resource Development Assistant
(1 Year Intern Position)
Nishnawbe Aski Nation (NAN) is looking for an Economic & Resource Development Assistant. Under the direction of the Economic & Resource Development, Policy Advisor, the successful candidate will be trained to work in an office environment, perform general office duties and help work on specific projects for 1 year duration.
The position is funded by the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation-Specific requirements include: Northern Ontario secondary school graduates 29 years of age or under who recently graduated from an accredited college or university. Graduates from high school outside of Northern Ontario who have resided in the North for at least one year are also eligible. Mature graduates may be considered.
