CEREMONY HELD AT LOCATION OF FUTURE MONUMENT DURING ORANGE SHIRT DAY AWARENESS WALK

THUNDER BAY, ON: Nishnawbe Aski Nation (NAN) Deputy Grand Chief Anna Betty Achneepineskum was joined by representatives of the Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board, municipal officials, Residential School survivors and local students for a ceremony at the site of a future monument commemorating the students of St. Joseph’s Indian Residential School during NAN’s second-annual Orange Shirt Day awareness walk in Thunder Bay today....
